Introducing an update to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

MUNDO.PRO presents updated Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions to support changes arising from the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For European users and DAO participants, these documents include (Data Processing Addendum) a new data processing application prepared to comply with the GDPR. We see GDPR as an important step for the travel industry to protect the personal data of individuals. GDPR provides a blueprint for companies to put the user at the center of their privacy and security programs, allowing people to control how their data is used.

Any changes we make to this Privacy Policy are intended to improve the protection of your personal data and comply with data protection regulations.

Who are we?

MUNDO.PRO (Portal, DAO, Community) is an information portal and digital platform (DeFi) for the effective implementation of their knowledge and experience by creative people, an online search system for travel offers (including booking tours and excursions, comparing prices for air tickets, hotels, car rentals and other travel-related services) around the world through its websites, applications and other platforms.

In addition, MUNDO.PRO is an ecosystem and a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) for organizing independent travel and selling tourist offers by local residents directly to Users (P2P) using modern digital technologies - a smart contract "secure transaction". The DAO was created and managed using the rules of open smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain platform. Personal information you provide to us

The MUNDO.PRO portal collects and uses the data that you provide to us. When you make a Booking, you are (at a minimum) required to provide your name and email address. Depending on the type of service you choose, we may also ask you to provide your home address, telephone number, payment information, date of birth, the names of any other people traveling with you, and any preferences you may have (such as dietary requirements or any mobility restrictions ) regarding Travel.

We also collect your data if you need to contact our customer service team or contact us through other channels, such as social media or by communicating with a local person or travel provider booked through our website. You or your travel companions may also be asked to provide feedback to help future users find a Trip that's right for them. There are other cases where you provide us with data. You can use the Portal to share useful information, bookings and travel itineraries with other users. Personal data we collect automatically

Even if you have not made a Booking, when you use our sites or applications, we automatically collect certain data. Our platforms also integrate the services of third party providers for processing payments to Travel Suppliers. These providers share payment details with us so that we can process your Booking.

Another example is the integration of communication services with our platforms to enable you to contact us and a local person or booked Travel Provider regarding travel related issues. In such cases, we receive metadata about the use of communication services (for example: where you called, who you are, the date and duration of the call). We use the information we collect about you for a variety of purposes. Your personal data may be used as follows:

1. Reservations: We primarily use your personal data to complete and process your online Reservation, which is an important element of the services we provide.

2. Customer Support: Through our local offices, we provide 24/7 customer support in 6 languages. With certain of your information, such as your booking information or your account information, it assists you in finding the appropriate Travel Supplier and responds to queries related to your Booking and other related matters.

3. Account: Portal users can create an account on our website or application. We use the information you provide to us to manage your account. With its help, users can use useful services. You can publish educational content (travel experiences, interesting articles, news), upload videos and photos, manage Bookings, take advantage of special offers, book for the future and change settings. Managing your own settings may give you the ability to create and share lists and photos, access your previous Services search history, and review other travel information you have provided.   • If you use our services, we may send you a survey or ask you to provide feedback about the Portal or Travel Provider.
  • We also send you other materials related to your Bookings, such as information on how to contact MUNDO.PRO if you need assistance with your trip or information that we think may be useful in planning your Trip. We also send you information about future Bookings or reports on previous Bookings you have made on the Portal.
  • Even if you do not have any future Bookings, we may send you other administrative messages that may contain security warnings.

7. Market Research: We sometimes ask our users to participate in market research. If you are invited to participate in such a study, please review the relevant information to understand what personal information will be collected and how it will be used in the future.

8. Service improvement: We also use personal data for analytical purposes. This is part of our work to improve the services we offer to our users. The data may also be used for testing purposes to resolve problems and to improve the functionality and quality of our online travel services. 10. Call tracking: When you call MUNDO.PRO support, we use an automatic caller ID system to match your phone number with existing bookings - this will save both you and us time. However, our customer service team may request other authentication information to help maintain the confidentiality of your booking. Conversations with our support staff may be monitored in real time or recorded for quality control and further training purposes, including for the use of recordings in claims resolution and fraud prevention. Records are stored for a limited period of time and are deleted automatically unless the MUNDO.PRO portal deems it necessary to retain them for a longer period (if reasonably necessary), including for the purpose of investigating fraud and for legal purposes.

11. Providing a reliable service: in order to create a reliable and safe environment for you and the people traveling with you, to prevent fraudulent activities and other illegal or unwanted activities in relation to our private Travel Providers (DAO participants), we use a KYC procedure . We also use personal data for risk assessment and security purposes, including identifying users and bookings. To achieve these goals, if we are in doubt, we may block some bookings or place a booking on hold until we have completed our review.

12. Legal Purposes: In some cases, we may use your information to process and resolve legal disputes, for government investigations and compliance purposes, and to enforce the terms and conditions under which MUNDO.PRO provides online booking services or to comply with law enforcement requests.

Providing your personal data to the Portal is carried out on a voluntary basis. However, depending on the type of services you use, in some cases we will only be able to provide services to you after we have collected certain personal information. Subject to the purposes specified in points 1 and 2, MUNDO.PRO relies on legal grounds that the use of your personal data is necessary for the performance of the contract, in particular to complete and manage your Booking. How does MUNDO.PRO share your data with third parties?

In certain circumstances, we share your personal data with third parties.

  • To the Travel Provider you booked: This is a necessary action to fulfill our obligations. In order to complete your Booking, we transfer the relevant information about your booking to your chosen Travel Supplier. Depending on the type of service or other resource of the Travel Provider, such information may include your name, contact details, payment details, the names of other people traveling with you, and any preferences or other information you provided at the time of your Booking. If you have a question about a Trip, we may contact the Travel Provider to request that they process your request. In the event that payment has not been made during the booking process on the Portal, we may pass your credit card details to the Travel Supplier for further processing (provided you provided these details during the booking process). If a dispute arises regarding a booking, we may, as necessary, provide the Travel Supplier with information about the booking process necessary to resolve the dispute. Such information may include a copy of your booking confirmation as evidence that a Booking has been made.
  • To your local MUNDO.PRO office: in order to support users of the Portal services, your data may be transferred to subsidiaries of the MUNDO.PRO DAO group of companies that act as service providers for MUNDO.PRO, including in matters of user support.   • Third Party Service Providers: We use third party services to process your personal data on our behalf. This processing occurs for a variety of purposes, including sending marketing materials or verifying the authenticity of the email address you provided during the booking process. Third party service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use your personal information for purposes other than as directed by MUNDO.PRO.
  • Payment service providers and (other) financial institutions: If you or the cardholder has requested a chargeback on your Booking, we will be required to pass on certain details of your booking to the payment service provider and the relevant financial institution in order to process the chargeback. This may include a copy of your booking confirmation or the IP address from which you made the booking. We may share information with relevant financial institutions if we deem this absolutely necessary to detect and prevent fraud.
  • To Competent Authorities: We share personal data with law enforcement authorities to the extent that is required by law or is strictly necessary to prevent, detect or suppress criminal acts and fraud, or if we are otherwise legally obligated to share it. In addition, we may need to disclose personal data to competent authorities to protect our rights or property, as well as the rights and property of our business partners.

  • MUNDO.Basic: we can provide you with the ability to make MUNDO.Basic bookings. MUNDO.Basic implies that your booking is processed by a third party Travel Provider other than the tour option booked. As part of the booking process, we are required to share some of your personal data in relation to the booking with such third party partner.   • Advertising Partners: We share personal information, including your email address, with advertising partners as part of the marketing of the Portal and MUNDO.PRO DAO services through third party partners to ensure that relevant advertising messages are shown to the target audience. We strive to share email addresses in an encrypted manner so that they can be matched to our existing customer base and so that your email address cannot be used for any other purpose.   • In addition to sharing your personal data to complete and manage your Booking, we may need to share some of your personal data for the purposes of detecting and preventing fraudulent activity in accordance with applicable law, and to protect the Portal, its users, DAO members and business partners from fraudulent activities, conducting investigations and inspections regarding violations of personal data protection.

The transfer of personal data described in this Privacy Policy may involve the transfer of personal data to countries where data protection laws are not as mature and extensive as those in the European Union. Where required by EU law, we are required to transfer personal data only to recipients who provide an adequate level of protection. How does MUNDO.PRO handle communications that you and a representative of your booked Travel Provider may send through MUNDO.PRO?

MUNDO.PRO may provide tools for you and Travel Providers to communicate about the Services and existing Bookings or purchases. These messages pass through the MUNDO.PRO portal. This service allows you and your Travel Provider to contact MUNDO.PRO with questions about a Booking, purchase or Travel Provider through the "My Bookings" section, the MUNDO.PRO application, as well as through other channels that we provide.

MUNDO.PRO has access to messages and may use automated systems to review, scan and analyze messages for security purposes; fraud prevention; compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; identifying potential misconduct; product development and improvement; research; engaging users, including to provide you with information and offers that we think may be of interest to you: providing customer or technical support. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to block delivery of messages or to review messages if we believe they may contain harmful content, spam, or may pose a risk to you, properties, MUNDO.PRO, etc. All messages sent or received using the MUNDO.PRO messaging tool will be received and stored by MUNDO.PRO. How does MUNDO.PRO use mobile devices?

We offer free apps for a variety of mobile devices, as well as special versions of our website optimized for viewing on phones and tablets. These applications and mobile sites process the personal data you provide in much the same way as our site. They allow you to use location-based functionality (geolocation) so that you can find Services nearby (if you so choose). With your consent, we may send you push notifications with information about your Booking.
