Five Russian summits, five of Russia’s highest peaks. The highest mountain in Russia is Elbrus. Two peaks exceed the mark of 5000 m. These are the Western one with a height of 5642 m and the Eastern one - 5621 m. Thousands of tourists come here to overcome the difficult path and climb Elbrus. The first person to conquer this mountain was a member of the Emmanuel regiment on July 22, 1829.
